Our Story
Smoking what we want...
Inspired by the traditions of regional American BBQ, and low country cooking, but interpreted through the lens of PNW ingredients and Portland’s irreverent spirit. We plan to put a focus on diverse seasonal side dishes, whimsical appetizers, and slow and low hardwood smoked meats. We will offer traditional and unique cuts, depending on availability and sustainability. In our “American Local” style we will incorporate/infuse flavors from different cultures and cuisines, as a tribute to the bounty of diverse foods that have made their way to the US. On any given day at Blasphemy Barbecue you might find anything from Jenny’s down home Mac & Cheese to green chili ribs to gochujang glazed wings and a lot of veggies in between. Additionally, we have taken over the Beer Spot bar cart as well, and will be serving beer, wine, cider, and margaritas.
